Built for mid-size workgroups

The Brother MFC-L6900DWG is a monochrome laser all-in-one designed for offices that need fast, high-volume printing, copying, scanning and faxing. It delivers up to 52 pages per minute with a first page out in less than 7.5 seconds. An 800 MHz processor and 1 GB of RAM handle complex jobs without slowing the queue. The 4.85-inch colour touchscreen supports up to 48 custom shortcuts for frequent tasks.

Straightforward network setup

Connectivity options include Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0 and wireless LAN, plus NFC for tap-to-print from mobile devices. The 520-sheet main tray adjusts for letter or legal paper, while a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray handles envelopes and specialty media. Automatic duplex printing is standard. Installation is typically smooth, though configuring the full shortcut set on the touchscreen can take time during initial deployment.

Steady output for sustained loads

A maximum monthly duty cycle of 150,000 pages and a recommended volume of 10,000 pages indicate durability for continuous operation. The 730-watt operational draw reflects the engine’s ability to maintain 52 ppm across long runs without thermal throttling. Output resolution stays at 1200 x 1200 dpi for both print and copy jobs. The flatbed and ADF scanner operate at the same optical resolution, keeping scan speeds consistent during batch processing.
