What this windscreen is and who uses it

The Bubblebee Industries Big Long-Haired Fur Windbubble is a black faux-fur windscreen designed for handheld microphones. It targets field recordists, broadcasters and content creators who capture audio outdoors in heavy wind. The elasticised aperture fits all standard handheld microphones securely. The long fur is supplied as standard to maximise wind-noise attenuation.

Check your microphone before ordering

Confirm that your handheld microphone has a standard cylindrical body so the elastic opening can grip it tightly. The windscreen relies on a snug fit around the mic capsule area to maintain sound transparency. No tools or adapters are required, but an oversized or unusually shaped microphone may not seal properly.

Wind performance and handling noise

The dense long fur and smooth mesh lining let air pass through without hammering the microphone capsule, preserving clarity in strong gusts. The construction adds negligible weight and does not introduce handling noise when fitted correctly. It is built for quick deployment and removal during outdoor sessions.
