Input Connector
This BUCIER cable converts a DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm female barrel jack into a USB-C male plug. It lets you power or charge USB-C laptops, tablets or phones from an existing DC adapter. The 17.4cm braided cable includes a built-in PD identification chip for automatic voltage negotiation.
Adapter Compatibility
Verify that your DC power adapter uses a 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector before ordering. The adapter must supply between 15V and 20.5V and its rated wattage must exceed the device you intend to charge. A 90W adapter cannot run a 90W laptop; it only supports loads below that level such as 86W or 65W units.
Power Delivery Limits
The cable supports PD profiles of 5V, 9V at 1.5A and 20V at 5A up to 100W, with no 12V or 15V output steps. Input voltage must be higher than the negotiated output voltage for the chip to operate. The copper core and nylon braid handle normal charging currents without excess heat or noise.

Questions about this item
What comes in the box and do I need any extra parts?
The package includes one DC 5.5mm x 2.1mm female to USB-C male cable. You must supply a DC 5521 power adapter and a USB-C device to charge.
How do I pick the right version or capacity for my laptop?
Match the cable’s PD 100W rating and 20V 5A output to your laptop’s needs; your DC adapter must exceed the laptop’s draw — e.g. a 90W adapter only supports laptops below 90W such as 86W or 65W models.
What does the 100W PD figure mean when I plug this into a real machine?
It means the cable can deliver up to 20V at 5A (100W) to a compatible USB-C device, provided the DC input is 15V–20.5V and supplies more power than the laptop requires.
