Compact DisplayPort-to-DVI adapter

The BUCIER adapter converts a DisplayPort or DisplayPort++ output on a desktop, laptop or ultrabook into a DVI-D signal for a monitor, projector or HDTV. Its male-to-female layout means you plug the adapter into the source and then attach a standard DVI cable, which is not included. The locking DisplayPort connector secures the link with latches that must be released before removal, preventing accidental disconnection during presentations or daily use.

Gold-plated connector and strain relief

Gold plating on the DisplayPort contacts resists corrosion and abrasion, helping maintain consistent signal quality over time. Moulded strain relief at the joint between connector and body reduces cable fatigue when the adapter is carried in a bag or pocket. The unit is unidirectional, so it only carries video from a DisplayPort source to a DVI display and cannot operate in reverse.

Maximum supported resolutions

Video output is limited to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz, 1920x1200, or PC graphics modes up to 2048x1152 at 60 Hz. Buyers who need higher resolutions, refresh rates above 60 Hz, or audio pass-through should look for an active converter or a different interface, as this passive adapter cannot exceed the listed limits.
