A dual-monitor DisplayPort KVM switch lets two computers share one keyboard, mouse, dual 4K@60 Hz displays, three USB 2.0 ports and separate audio and microphone outputs.
This BUCIER DP202C-USB2.0-H switch lets you control two desktops or laptops with one keyboard, one mouse and two DisplayPort monitors. Each system must provide two DisplayPort outputs and support extended-desktop mode. The unit draws 5 V from the included adapter and weighs 0.5 kg.
Passive cooling keeps the device silent during normal operation. Power consumption is limited to the 5 V supply, so no additional power-supply capacity is required. No fan noise or heat-related throttling occurs in typical office or home use.
The jump is worthwhile when you need true dual-monitor 3840x2160 at 60 Hz YUV 4:4:4 switching without the latency of software solutions. It replaces setups that rely on a single video cable or USB 2.0-only sharing. Not suited for users who require 8K, 100 Hz, 120 Hz or 144 Hz refresh rates, or who need more than three USB 2.0 ports.

Connect the 5 V DC adapter first, then plug both DisplayPort and USB cables from each computer into the rear ports; the step people skip is powering the unit before connecting the video and data links.
The switch has no user-serviceable parts; if the 5 V power adapter fails, replace it with an equivalent 5 V DC supply, otherwise the unit is maintenance-free.
The DP 1.2 link caps video at 3840×2160 60 Hz YUV 4:4:4; higher refresh rates such as 100, 120 or 144 Hz and 8K resolutions are not supported.
