Ultra HD 8K DisplayPort Cable
This DisplayPort 1.4 cable supports 8K resolution at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz over a 16.4 ft length. It is built for users who need high-bandwidth video links between a computer and a monitor across longer runs than copper allows.
Directional Optical Fiber Build
The cable uses four optical fibers to carry TMDS signals without high-frequency interference and is rated for stable transmission up to 100 meters. Connectors are marked Source and Display and must be plugged in the correct orientation for the link to function.
Bandwidth and Device Limits
The 32.4 Gbps bandwidth ceiling means both the source device and the display must natively support the target resolution and refresh rate. If either end lacks 8K or high-refresh 4K capability the cable will negotiate a lower mode.

Questions about this item
What bandwidth does the DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 interface support on this cable?
The cable carries 32.4 Gbps over the DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 link, enabling 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz.
What physical clearance and connector orientation does the 5 m optical cable require?
The cable is slim and flexible, but each end is marked Source or Display and must be plugged in the indicated direction.
How do I install the cable correctly, and what step is commonly missed?
Connect the Source end to the computer and the Display end to the monitor; reversing the ends will break the signal path.
