BUCIER USB C 3.2 Extension Cable 20Gbps 240W 0.25m 2-pack

Extension cable for USB-C devices

This 0.25 metre male-to-female extender adds reach to USB-C connections while supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 20 Gbps. It carries DisplayPort Alternate Mode video for 4K at 60 Hz output to external monitors. A separate male-to-male USB 3.2 cable is required to complete the link to the host or display.

Limits of USB 3.2 Gen 2 and PD 3.1

The cable handles up to 20 Gbps data throughput and 240 W power delivery at 50 V / 5 A maximum. It is backward compatible with PD 3.0, PD 2.0, QC 4.0, QC 3.0, QC 2.0 and Samsung adaptive fast charging. Video requires the host port to support DisplayPort Alternate Mode; Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports work for data but video depends on the host implementation.

Capacity and headroom for charging and data

The 240 W rating covers high-power laptops and docking stations using 240 W, 100 W, 96 W, 87 W, 61 W, 60 W, 30 W, 18 W or 15 W adapters. Data transfers at 20 Gbps move large files quickly, though actual speed depends on the connected storage and host controller. The short 0.25 metre length minimises signal loss, but it does not replace a full-length host-to-device cable.
