Check host port and display capabilities

Your source device must provide a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 port that supports both USB 3.2 data and DisplayPort Alt Mode for video. The connected monitor or dock also needs a USB-C input that accepts 4K at 60Hz. Without those features the cable will fall back to lower speeds or no video signal.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use
