Bidirectional USB-C KVM for dual-computer setups

This BUCIER KVM switch lets two USB-C computers share one display or one computer drive two displays, switching instantly by button or wired remote. It requires no drivers and works with any device that supports USB-C Alternate DisplayPort Mode, including laptops, tablets and consoles. The unit draws power from the included USB cable and ships with the necessary USB-C cables for immediate use.

Practical limits of 10Gbps USB 3.1 Gen2

Video output reaches 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 120Hz or 1080p at 165Hz, and ultrawide resolutions such as 3440x1440 and 2560x1440 are supported. Data transfers peak at 10Gbps, so large media files move in seconds, but only when a compliant USB 3.1 Gen2 cable is used. The two connected displays cannot be active simultaneously; the switch toggles between them.

100W pass-through charging decides suitability

The switch delivers up to 100W of charging power to the connected host while video and data are active, letting a laptop run and charge from a single cable. If your workflow demands simultaneous dual-display output or a higher power budget, this model will not meet those needs.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2-in-1-out or 1-in-2-out mode for my two laptops and one monitor?

Use the 2-in-1-out mode to share one USB-C display between two laptops; press the button or remote to switch the active source.

What does the 8K 60 Hz rating mean when I connect my laptop to a 4K 144 Hz monitor?

The switch passes up to 8K at 60 Hz, so a 4K 144 Hz panel will run at its native 4K 120 Hz limit through this device.

Does the USB 3.1 Gen 2 10 Gbps port also carry the 100 W charging?

Yes, the single USB-C connection handles 10 Gbps data, 8K video and up to 100 W power delivery simultaneously.
