The contract provides next-business-day replacement shipment and 24x7 phone technical support. Service is delivered through a shipment-based exchange process. Coverage applies to the specific part numbers listed in the manufacturer highlights.

Ideal For Mission-Critical NAS

Organisations that rely on continuous data availability for TeraStation 5810, 51210 four-drive, WSH5610 or DriveStation Ultra 6 Bay systems gain rapid hardware replacement. The five-year term aligns with longer asset depreciation schedules. Buyers needing on-site repair or faster than next-business-day response should look at other service levels.

Five-Year Next-Business-Day Replacement

The defining specification is the five-year contract period combined with next-business-day replacement shipment. This response time and duration determine whether the warranty meets recovery-time objectives for the supported TeraStation 5600, 5800 and Workstation 5600 series models.

Which Buffalo NAS models are covered by the 5YNBD20 warranty?

The 5YNBD20 covers TeraStation 5810, 51210 (4 drive), WSH5610 and DriveStation Ultra 6 Bay, plus the specific part numbers listed in the product data.

What does the next-business-day response time mean for a failed unit?
