Bunting Bearings EF121624 flanged sleeve bearing 3/4 in bore bronze self-lubricating PK3
Self-lubricating bronze flanged sleeve bearing with 3/4 in bore and 1.25 in flange diameter
- Self-lubricating bronze eliminates external oiling
- 3/4 inch bore fits standard shafts
- Flanged design secures axial positioning
- Operates from 10 to 220 degrees F
- SAE 30 oil impregnation ensures steady lubrication
Flanged sleeve bearing 3/4 in bore
This flanged sleeve bearing has a 3/4 in bore and 1 in outside diameter with a 1 1/2 in overall length. The bronze body uses sintered bronze material and carries SAE 30 oil for self-lubricating operation. It is sold as a pack of three units.
Bronze material and self-lubricating oil
The bronze construction and internal SAE 30 oil remove the need for external grease lines in many low-speed applications. The flanged design with a 1.25 in flange diameter and .187 in flange thickness provides axial location without separate thrust washers.
Check shaft tolerance and temperature range
Verify that the shaft diameter matches the 3/4 in bore and that the housing can accept the 1 in outside diameter with the stated length tolerance of +/- .0075 in. The bearing is rated for a minimum temperature of 10 Degrees F and a maximum of 220 Degrees F.

Questions about this item
When will the bronze bearing and SAE 30 oil need replacing?
The sintered bronze is self-lubricating with SAE 30 oil, so no routine oil changes are required; replace the bearing if clearance grows beyond the .0075 in length tolerance or if wear causes excess play.
What is the first limit reached during continuous operation?
The maximum operating temperature is 220 Degrees F; sustained loads that push the bearing beyond this limit will degrade the oil film before any dimensional limit is hit.
How much heat and noise does the flanged sleeve produce when running all day?
Bronze-on-steel with SAE 30 oil runs quietly; the bearing itself generates minimal heat, but the housing must dissipate enough to keep the bore below 220 Degrees F.
