Ground clamp for 1¼–2 in pipe

The Burndy pipe ground clamp connects a single grounding conductor to copper water pipe or tubing. It accepts solid wire from 10 AWG up to 2 AWG and stranded wire across the same range. The bronze body is UL listed to UL 467 for commercial grounding applications.

Mechanical connection limits

The clamp fits pipe diameters from 1¼ inches to 2 inches maximum. Only one grounding wire can be terminated per clamp. The mechanical screw connection requires no specialised tooling beyond standard hand tools for tightening.

Capacity and headroom

Suitable for grounding electrode conductors up to 2 AWG stranded on the listed pipe sizes. The connector does not accommodate conductors larger than 2 AWG or pipes outside the 1¼–2 inch range. Multiple clamps are required for additional grounding wires.
