Crimping die for 4 AWG copper lugs, compatible with 12-ton U-style tools including PAT46, PAT750, Y35, Y39, Y45, Y46 and Y750 series
This U-style crimping die set includes upper and lower dies finished in a gray colour code. It is designed for use with Burndy crimping tools rated to 12 ton force. The dies accept 4 AWG copper lugs and suit electricians terminating heavy-gauge conductors in commercial or industrial installations.
Confirm that your crimper belongs to the PAT46, PAT750, Y35, Y39, Y45, Y46 or Y750 series before ordering. The die set only functions with tools capable of delivering 12 ton of crimping force. Hand-operated, battery-powered and hydraulic models from those series are all compatible.
This set replaces damaged, lost or worn U-style dies on supported Burndy tools. The upgrade is worthwhile when existing dies no longer produce a consistent crimp on 4 AWG copper lugs or when a technician needs a dedicated gray-coded set for colour-coded workflow identification.
