The Burndy YA1CLB is a one-hole compression lug designed for solid or stranded copper wire up to 1 AWG. It suits electrical and industrial wiring jobs that require a secure, code-compliant termination on a 5/16 inch stud. The short barrel and belled straight profile keep the connection compact inside panels or enclosures.

Install with standard compression tooling

Installers crimp the lug using a die matched to code 1 or 018; the green color code on the barrel confirms the correct die selection. Tin-plated copper resists oxidation during the crimp and in service. The single stud hole simplifies alignment, but the fixed 5/16 inch spacing means the lug cannot adapt to other bolt patterns without replacement.

Rated 35 kV with 194 °F temperature limit

The connector carries a maximum voltage rating of 35 kV and operates continuously up to 194 degrees Fahrenheit.
