One-hole compression lug for 250–300 kcmil copper wire, 1/2 in stud, long barrel, 600 V, tin-plated, UL 467 listed
This one-hole compression lug accepts copper conductors from 250 kcmil up to 300 kcmil and terminates on a 1/2 in stud. The brazed barrel and tin-plated copper contact provide a secure crimp connection rated for 600 V. It meets UL 467 for grounding and bonding applications.
The long barrel measures 0.95 in and has an outside diameter of 1 in, giving extra crimp area for sustained mechanical and electrical loading. Bare copper with tin finish resists oxidation at continuous operating temperatures up to 302 °F. Tongue width of 1.18 in distributes clamping force evenly across the stud.
Installers moving from standard-barrel lugs gain the longer 0.95 in barrel for improved pull-out strength on heavy-gauge feeder cables. The jump is worth it when vibration, thermal cycling or high fault-current duty demand the added crimp length and brazed-seam integrity.

The lug is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 302 °F and a maximum voltage of 600 V; it does not generate heat itself but will reach the temperature of the conductor carrying the current.
A hydraulic crimp tool with a die set approved for 250–300 kcmil copper and the lug’s 0.95 in barrel length is needed; the lug uses a brazed barrel style and tin-plated copper contact.
Yes, the lug is built for a 1/2 in stud and has a tongue width of 1.18 in, matching standard 1/2 in hardware patterns.
