Marine viewing binoculars

The BushNell 137501 is a 7x50 binocular built for marine use. Its waterproof and fogproof construction handles wet environments reliably. The compact black chassis weighs 36 oz and measures 3-1/2 by 8-3/4 by 9-1/2 inches. It suits boaters and coastal observers who need durable optics on the water.

7x magnification with 50 mm objective

The 7x magnification paired with a 50 mm eyepiece lens delivers a 380 ft field of view at 1000 yd. Fully multi-coated UV optics maximise light transmission in bright or low conditions. A Porro prism system provides depth perception for distance estimation. Minimum focus reaches 25 ft for near-object detail.

Tripod mountable for steady observation

A built-in tripod mount allows fixed-position viewing during extended watches. The weather-resistant housing seals out moisture and prevents internal fogging. No batteries or power draw are required for operation. The 36 oz weight remains manageable for handheld use or supported mounting.

Questions about this item

How does the 7x magnification feel when you are scanning the horizon from a boat?

The 7x power keeps the image steady enough for handheld use on water while still bringing distant shorelines and markers into clear view.

What does the 50 mm objective lens actually deliver in low light?

The 50 mm front lenses gather plenty of light, and the fully multi-coated optics with UV protection transmit a bright, high-contrast image at dawn or dusk.

Can the 137501 be mounted on a standard tripod for long watches?

Yes, it has a built-in tripod mount so you can secure it on any standard tripod for fatigue-free viewing during extended observation.
