Heavy-duty clasp envelopes

These 28 lb Kraft envelopes use an open-end design with reinforced metal clasps for repeated access. Deep gumming on the large flap creates a secure seal for documents. Each box contains 100 envelopes sized for standard filing.

Practical limits of the clasp seal

The metal clasp is plated for rust resistance and has rounded edges to prevent snagging. It fastens by hand without tools and can be opened and closed multiple times. The gummed flap provides a permanent seal when moistened.

28 lb paper weight decides durability

This basis weight determines tear resistance and stiffness for bulky or frequent-use contents. Lighter stock would crease under heavy loads; heavier stock would increase mailing cost. Choose this weight when documents need rigid protection and repeated handling.
