Pack of five fast-acting glass cartridge fuses rated 0.05 A at 125 V AC with a 10 kA interrupt rating
The Bussmann AGC 1/20A glass fuse provides fast-acting over-current protection at a 0.05A rating. It is intended for circuits that require a small, cylindrical fuse with a 10kA interrupt rating at 125V AC and a 35A interrupt rating at 250V AC. The five-pack suits maintenance kits or multiple replacement points in compatible equipment.
The fuse uses a non-rejection cylindrical glass body measuring 1-1/4 inches long by 1/4 inch in diameter. Glass construction allows visual confirmation of element status after a fault. Fast-acting characteristics limit energy let-through during an over-current event without time-delay behaviour that would suit motor-start circuits.
The fuse is equivalent to Bussmann AGC and MMB series as well as Littelfuse 311, 312 and 3AG series plus Mersen GGC series. Compatible fuse block series include 3823, HFA, HHN, HK, HKP, HPF, HRK, HTB and S-8000. Buyers needing a rejection-style fuse or a different voltage interrupt rating must select an alternative part.

Insert the cylindrical glass fuse into a compatible block such as series 3823, HFA, HHN, HK, HKP, HPF, HRK, HTB, or S-8000; the step often missed is verifying the block's voltage and interrupt ratings match the fuse's 10kA at 125V AC and 35A at 250V AC ratings.
This fast-acting fuse is a single-use device; once it interrupts a fault current it must be replaced with a new AGC 1/20A fuse — no maintenance can restore it.
The fuse's fast-acting characteristic means it will open quickly on any sustained overcurrent above 0.05A; the first limit under continuous load is its rated current of 0.05A, beyond which it is designed to interrupt.
