Fast-acting glass fuse rated 4 A at 250 V AC, 35 A interrupt rating, 20 mm × 5 mm, pack of five
This pack contains five fast-acting glass fuses rated at 4 amps and 250 volts AC. They are designed for circuit protection in low-voltage equipment and automotive electrical accessories. Each fuse has a cylindrical 20mm by 5mm body and a 35A interrupt rating at 250V AC. The GDB series is a direct replacement for Bussmann S500, Littelfuse 217 and Mersen GSB types.
Glass fuses operate silently and generate negligible heat during normal operation at rated current. They draw no power themselves and add no acoustic signature to the circuit. The fast-acting element opens quickly under overload to protect downstream components. No active cooling or thermal management is required for the fuse itself.
These fuses fit standard 5mm x 20mm fuse holders and compatible HTB series fuse blocks. The non-rejection body style allows simple insertion without keyed slots. The pack of five provides spares for maintenance or multiple circuits. Buyers needing higher amperage ratings or rejection-style bases should select a different series.

Insert the 20 mm by 5 mm cylindrical fuse into a fuse block such as the HTB series, ensuring the glass body seats fully and the metal end caps make firm contact.
The fuse is a single-element, non-rejection device with no serviceable parts; once it interrupts a fault at its 35 A rating it must be replaced with another GDB-4A or equivalent 217 series fuse.
The fuse is rated for 4 A continuous at 250 V AC; exceeding this current causes the fast-acting element to open, which is the first limit reached under sustained use.
