Time-delay glass fuse rated 63 mA at 250 V AC with a 35 A interrupt rating, supplied in a pack of five
The Bussmann GDC-63MA is a cylindrical glass fuse rated at 63 mA and 250 V AC. It suits low-current circuits in instrumentation, control panels and similar equipment where precise over-current protection is required. The 5 mm diameter by 20 mm length body fits standard 5 × 20 mm fuse holders. Each pack contains five identical fuses.
The time-delay characteristic allows the fuse to withstand brief inrush currents without opening, while still interrupting a sustained overload. During a prolonged fault the single-element design melts cleanly once the current exceeds the rated value for the defined duration. The glass body lets you verify the element visually after an event.
The fuse carries a 35 A interrupt rating at 250 V AC, limiting its use to circuits where prospective short-circuit current stays below that level. It is listed to cURus guide JDYX2/JDYX8 file E19180 and IMQ file E1921, and meets standard CA 03.00530. Circuits with higher available fault current need a fuse with a greater interrupt rating.

The 35 A rating is the maximum fault current the fuse can safely break, not its operating temperature; the 63 mA fuse element carries only its rated current in normal service.
The GDC series fits compatible HTB fuse blocks designed for 20 mm × 5 mm glass cartridge fuses.
Yes, the GDC series is listed as equivalent to Littelfuse 218, Bussmann S506 and Mersen GDG series for direct replacement.
