Pack of five 63 mA fast-acting glass fuses rated 250 V AC with 35 A interrupt capacity
The Bussmann GMA-63-R is a cylindrical glass fuse rated at 63 mA and 250 V AC. It belongs to the GMA series and uses a single-element, fast-acting design. Each pack contains five fuses measuring 20 mm in length and 5 mm in diameter. They suit low-current circuit protection in equipment that accepts 5 x 20 mm fuse holders.
The fuse carries a 10 kA interrupt rating at 125 V AC and 35 A at 250 V AC. Its fast-acting element opens quickly under overload, limiting heat rise in the protected circuit. Glass construction allows visual inspection of the element after a fault. The non-rejection body fits standard clips without a keyed holder.
Compatible with HTB series fuse blocks, the fuse drops into existing 5 mm clips without modification. Certifications include CE, CSA Class 1422-01, UL Guide JDYX and PSE approval. Equivalent series from Littelfuse and Mersen are 235 and GGM respectively. Buyers needing higher current ratings or a different voltage class should select another part.

Insert the cylindrical fuse body fully into the HTB fuse block clips until it seats firmly; the step often missed is verifying both metal end caps make solid contact with the clip jaws.
The fuse is single-element and non-rejection; once it interrupts a fault it must be replaced with an identical GMA-series 63 mA 250 V AC glass fuse — no resetting or partial servicing is possible.
The fuse will open quickly at currents above 63 mA; the 35 A rating only defines the maximum fault current it can safely interrupt at 250 V AC, not a sustained operating limit.
