A time-delay ceramic fuse rated 1.25 A at 250 V AC with a 35 A interrupt rating, supplied in a five-pack
This pack contains five EATON BUSSMANN MDA series cylindrical ceramic fuses rated at 1.25 A and 250 V AC. Each fuse measures 1-1/4 inches long by 1/4 inch diameter and features a time-delay, non-indicating design. The ceramic body material is specified for the MDA series. They are supplied new in a five-piece pack.
These fuses suit maintenance or repair jobs that require the exact 1.25 A rating with a 35 A interrupt rating at 250 V AC. They are not for circuits that need a different current rating, a fast-acting characteristic, or an indicating feature. Buyers who need a rejection-style fuse or a higher interrupt capacity should look at a different series.
The single specification that decides fit is the 35 A interrupt rating at 250 V AC. This figure must match the prospective short-circuit current of the circuit being protected. If the installation demands a higher or lower interrupt rating, this MDA series fuse will not meet the requirement.

Insert the cylindrical 1-1/4 in by 1/4 in fuse into a compatible block such as series 3823, HFA, HHN, HK, HKP, HPF, HRK, HTB or S-8000; the step often missed is verifying the block matches the non-rejection MDA series so the fuse seats fully.
The fuse is a single-element, non-indicating device with no serviceable parts; after it interrupts a fault at its 35 A rating it must be replaced with another 1.25 A, 250 V AC time-delay ceramic fuse of the same MDA/326/GSA series.
The time-delay element will eventually open after a sustained overload; the interrupting capacity is 35 A at 250 V AC, so any fault current above that level exceeds the fuse's ability to clear safely.
