Glass fast-acting fuse rated 50 mA at 250 V AC with a 35 A interrupt rating, 20 mm by 5 mm, pack of five
The Bussmann S500-50-R is a 50 mA glass fuse rated for 250 V AC with a 35 A interrupt rating. It belongs to the S500 series and uses a fast-acting, single-element design. The cylindrical body measures 20 mm in length and 5 mm in diameter. Each pack contains five fuses for circuit protection.
This fuse handles continuous loads up to 50 mA at 250 V AC. The 35 A interrupt rating provides headroom for fault conditions within that limit. It runs out when current exceeds the rated value, opening the circuit to protect downstream components. The fast-acting element responds quickly to overcurrent events.
The 5 mm by 20 mm glass body fits compatible HTB series fuse blocks and other holders accepting this size. It is a non-rejection type, so it installs without keyed features. Equivalent series include Bussmann GDB, Littelfuse 217 and Mersen GSB for cross-referencing. Certifications include CE, CSA and UL Guide JDYX2.
