Glass time-delay fuse rated 500 mA at 250 V AC with a 35 A interrupt rating, supplied in a pack of five
The EATON BUSSMANN S506-500-R is a cylindrical glass fuse rated at 500 mA and 250 V AC with a time-delay characteristic. It suits circuits that need a small fuse body and a 35 A interrupt rating at 250 V AC. The 5 mm diameter by 20 mm length fits standard 5 x 20 mm fuse holders. This pack contains five pieces for spares or multiple installations.
The time-delay element tolerates brief inrush currents without opening, reducing nuisance trips on inductive loads. Under normal operation the fuse runs cool and silent, adding negligible resistance to the circuit. When a sustained over-current occurs the element melts cleanly, interrupting up to 35 A at 250 V AC. No active cooling or noise is produced.
The fuse cross-references to Bussmann GDC, Littelfuse 218 and Mersen GDG series, simplifying replacement sourcing. It is compatible with HTB series fuse blocks for secure panel mounting. The cURus recognition, IMQ and MITI/JET markings confirm compliance for equipment destined for regulated markets. The pack of five ensures immediate availability for service or production use.

Insert the cylindrical fuse into a compatible HTB series fuse block until the metal end caps seat firmly; the step often missed is verifying the block is rated for 250 V AC and 35 A interrupt capacity.
The fuse is a single-element, non-rejection device; after it interrupts a fault it must be replaced with another 500 mA 250 V AC unit from the same S506 or equivalent 218 series.
The fuse will open when its time-delay characteristic is exceeded; the 35 A at 250 V AC interrupt rating defines the maximum fault current it can safely break.
