Standard Duty Mesh Tarp for Outdoor Coverage

This black vinyl mesh tarp measures 7 by 15 feet and is rated for standard duty use. It is intended for general outdoor coverage where moderate protection from sun and wind is required. The material is UV resistant to reduce degradation from sunlight. It is not water resistant or waterproof.

10 mil Thickness with 12 oz Fabric Weight

The 10 mil thickness and 12 oz per square yard fabric weight provide a balance of durability and airflow for standard applications. It handles light debris containment and shade duties comfortably. The mesh construction means it will not hold water or block heavy rain. It runs out when a solid waterproof barrier or heavy duty tear resistance is needed.

Brass Grommets on 24 Inch Centers

Double stitched hems and web reinforced edges add strength at stress points. Brass grommets with a 3 inch inside diameter are spaced every 24 inches along the perimeter for secure tie down attachment. The grommet size accepts rope, bungee cords or hooks for versatile mounting. The tarp is breathable and not insulated.

Questions about this item

Will the 3 in brass grommets spaced 24 in apart line up with the tie-down points on my older trailer frame?

The tarp uses 3 in brass grommets placed every 24 in along the edges, so you can match them to existing anchors or add new ones at the same spacing.

How can I confirm the 10 mil vinyl is holding up after I secure it over my equipment?

Check that the double-stitched seams and web-reinforced edges remain tight, the brass grommets show no tearing, and water beads on the UV-resistant black surface after rain.

Does the 7 x 15 ft finished tarp come with ropes or bungees, or must I supply my own tie-downs?

Only the vinyl tarp with brass grommets is included; ropes, bungee cords or straps are not supplied and must be purchased separately.
