Kabgard Light Mount 85166

The Buyers Products Kabgard mount provides a dedicated bracket for spot and flood lights on trailers, plows and towing equipment. It is built for operators who need a secure attachment point for auxiliary lighting during work or transport.

Integration with towing gear

The bracket bolts to the vehicle or implement frame, creating a fixed position for the lamps without drilling additional holes in body panels. It frees up roof and bumper space while keeping the beam aimed at the work area.

Upgrade from universal clamps

Compared with generic U-bolt or magnetic bases, this model matches the Kabgard profile for a tighter fit and cleaner wiring routing. The jump is worth it when vibration or theft risk makes temporary mounts unreliable.

Questions about this item

What is the first limitation that appears when the Kabgard light mount 85166 is used continuously on a trailer?

The mount is rated for trailer, plow and towing equipment use; sustained vibration and road shock are the primary factors that will test its structural limits first.

How much heat or noise does the 85166 mount generate during all-day operation?

The mount itself has no moving parts or electrical load, so it produces no measurable heat and is completely silent while the vehicle runs.

Which existing equipment must the buyer already have for the Kabgard 85166 to function as intended?

A compatible Kabgard headache rack and the appropriate spot or flood lights are required before this mount can be installed and used.
