Heavy-Duty Recessed Rope Ring

The Buyers Products B901 is a steel tie-down ring built for commercial work trucks and service bodies. Its zinc-plated finish resists corrosion during heavy-duty exterior use. The recessed design allows floor mounting or installation on steel cross members. It provides a secure anchor point for cargo restraint.

360-Degree Swivel Function

The ring rotates up to 360 degrees to give optimum manoeuvrability when securing loads from different angles. This movement helps align the rope or strap without twisting the hardware. No accessories or software are included with the unit. The swivel action is the only functional addition over a fixed ring.

2000 lb Working Load Limit

The working load limit is 2,000 lb while the gross vehicle weight capacity is 6,000 lb. These ratings define the maximum safe force for cargo tie-down applications. The four-hole bracket pattern is fixed and must match the mounting surface. Buyers needing a higher load rating or a different bolt pattern cannot use this model.

Questions about this item

Will the zinc-plated steel finish need re-coating after extended outdoor exposure?

The zinc plating provides corrosion resistance for heavy-duty exterior use, but the finish may wear over time and could require touch-up to maintain protection.

What is the maximum load the rope ring can handle continuously during daily tie-down cycles?

The working load limit is 2,000 lb, which is the sustained capacity for regular use; the 6,000 lb GVW rating applies to gross vehicle weight, not the ring itself.

Does the 360-degree swivel generate heat or noise when rotated under load all day?

The rotating mechanism is a mechanical swivel with no motor or bearings that produce heat; operation is silent and adds no measurable power draw.
