All-in-one NUC and 1080p PTZ camera

The BG-NUCLEUS-10X combines an Intel NUC desktop with an integrated 1080p PTZ camera. It ships with Windows 10, an Intel Core i5 processor, 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB M.2 SSD. The unit is aimed at classrooms, conference rooms and remote-presenter setups that need a self-contained compute and video device.

Sustained-load behaviour with i5 and 16 GB RAM

The Intel Core i5 and 16 GB memory handle typical presentation workloads such as video conferencing, document sharing and cloud-app access without thermal throttling during extended sessions. The 512 GB M.2 SSD keeps boot and application load times consistent. HDMI output supports up to 4096x2160 at 60 Hz for external 4K displays.

Installation and common issues

The compact footprint allows placement on a desk, shelf or wall mount with minimal cabling — only power, HDMI and optional USB peripherals are required. Four USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A ports and one Type-C port provide ample connectivity for drives, clickers or audio devices. Bluetooth pairing for wireless keyboards or mice is straightforward. Buyers who need more storage than the single 512 GB drive or a second camera angle should plan for external expansion.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the i5 NUC produce when it runs all day?

The Intel NUC uses a compact low-power i5 processor with 16 GB RAM and a 512 GB M.2 SSD, so it stays cool and quiet during extended sessions.

Which display and peripherals must I already own to use the HDMI output and USB ports?

You need a 4K-capable display with an HDMI cable, plus any USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A or Type-C devices such as keyboard, mouse or storage.

Will the 10X optical-zoom PTZ camera work with my older 1080p capture card or streaming software?

The camera outputs 1080p at 60 Hz over the internal NUC link, so any Windows 10 application that recognises a standard UVC webcam will support it.
