Adjustable keel roller assembly with a 4" black rubber roller fits a 2" trailer tongue and includes 3/8" mounting bolts
This adjustable keel roller assembly mounts on a two-inch trailer tongue to add forward keel support for a boat. The four-inch black rubber roller cradles the hull centreline during loading and launching. A pair of 3/8-inch bolts is included for fastening the bracket. Boat owners who trailer smaller craft will find the unit straightforward to fit.
The product has no electrical or mechanical drive components so it generates no heat and makes no sound. No power supply is required and there are no moving parts that consume energy. Friction between the roller and hull is the only force involved during use. Buyers who want powered loading assistance should look at electric winch systems instead.
The bracket uses a four-inch rubber roller that resists UV exposure and saltwater contact. Included 3/8-inch bolts secure the assembly to the tongue without additional hardware. The adjustable design lets the roller sit at the correct height for different hull profiles. Builders needing a wider tongue fit or a different roller diameter will need a separate model.

Align the bracket slots with the tongue, insert the two included 3/8" bolts through the bracket and tongue holes, then tighten securely; the step most often missed is torquing both bolts evenly so the roller stays centred.
Inspect the rubber for cracking, flat spots or bearing noise each season; replace the roller when the tread wears thin or the inner sleeve seizes, as the rubber and bearings are the only wear items.
The 4" diameter limits ground clearance and load distribution first; on long hauls or heavy hulls the smaller contact patch concentrates pressure, causing premature rubber deformation before the bracket or bolts yield.
