USB 3.0 to VGA Adapter 1.8 m

This USB 3.0 to VGA adapter adds a VGA video output to a Windows computer through a single USB-A port. The 1.8 m cable carries both power and signal so no external supply is needed. It supports extended, mirror and clone display modes at up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz. A built-in FL2000DX chip handles the conversion and the driver installs from a virtual disk that appears when the adapter is plugged in.

Windows-only display expansion

The adapter works with Windows 10, 8.1, 8 and 7 in both 32-bit and 64-bit editions. It does not support macOS, Linux, Windows Vista, XP, Android, ChromeOS or any game console or streaming device. Buyers who need a VGA output on those platforms should look for a different solution. The device is uni-directional from USB to VGA and cannot accept a VGA source.

Requires a USB 3.0 port for 1080p60

Full 1920x1080 at 60 Hz performance is only guaranteed when the adapter is connected to a USB 3.0 port. On a USB 2.0 port the bandwidth is insufficient for that resolution and refresh rate. The adapter draws up to 300 mA and uses the USB 3.0 5 Gbps link for video transmission.
