15 ft Serial Cable for RS-232

The Cables To Go 52160 is a 15 ft DB9 male-to-female cable built for straight-through RS-232 data transfer. It suits installers and technicians who need a reliable serial link in commercial or educational AV environments. The black jacket and single connector keep the run simple and tidy.

Low-Profile CMG-Rated Build

CMG rating meets in-wall fire-code requirements for permanent installation. Low-profile connectors measure 1.25 in total depth, saving space inside gang boxes and clearing tight monitor mounts. Fully shielded construction blocks EMI/RFI interference, while moulded strain relief and thumbscrews secure each connection.

Replaces Bulkier Unrated Leads

This cable upgrades from non-plenum serial cords that cannot be run inside walls or that protrude too far for shallow mounts. The jump is worth it when code demands CMG compliance or when low-profile backshells are the only way to fit behind displays. Buyers needing longer runs or different connector genders will need another part.
