RapidRun S-Video Audio Flying Lead

This 1.5 ft RapidRun break-away pigtail provides male S-Video and stereo RCA connectors for linking projectors, receivers or displays to a RapidRun runner. It is built for in-wall audio/video installations where a short, tidy connection at the display end is required. The moulded black housing keeps the termination secure and the cable runs clean.

Signal quality on long in-wall runs

Because the flying lead plugs into a RapidRun PC/video UXGA or HT 5-Coax runner, the critical signal path stays inside the pre-terminated runner cable. The short 1.50 ft tail adds minimal extra length, so attenuation and interference remain low even when the runner spans classrooms or commercial signage routes. The RoHS-compliant construction meets environmental standards for permanent installs.

Quick snap-in installation

The break-away design lets you push the flying lead onto the runner until it clicks, with no soldering or crimping needed. Mis-aligning the keyed connector is the most common hiccup; once seated correctly the connection locks firmly. The lightweight 5.60 oz cable is easy to route behind wall plates or above ceiling tiles without straining the runner jack.
