Square Splice Washer Pack

CABLOFIL CE40EZ washers are steel components with an electro-zinc finish designed for splicing cable trays. Each transparent washer measures 2 1/8 in long, 2 in wide and 1 1/8 in high. The pack contains 25 pieces and includes clamps for tray assembly.

Suits standard tray widths; not for custom sizes

These washers accept tray widths of 4, 6, 8, 12, 18, 20, 22 and 24 in. Installers needing different widths or a non-zinc coating should select another product. The hardware is supplied without separate mounting fixings.

Tray width compatibility decides fit

The single specification that determines whether this part works is the tray width range of 4 to 24 in. Verify the tray dimension before ordering to ensure the splice washer matches the installation.

Questions about this item

Will the zinc plating on these CE40EZ washers need re-coating after years in a cable tray?

The electro-zinc finish on the steel washers resists corrosion in typical indoor tray runs; outdoor or wash-down environments may eventually require inspection and touch-up.

What stops me from torquing the included clamp past the washer's 2 1/8 in length during a long install day?

The 2 1/8 in length and 1 1/8 in height set the bearing surface; once the clamp bottoms out on the tray flange, further torque only stresses the bolt, not the washer.

Do the 25-piece packs generate noticeable heat or noise when left in a tray carrying heavy loads all day?

These are passive zinc-plated steel washers with no moving parts or electrical resistance, so they produce zero heat and zero noise under any load.
