Cable Management Bridle Ring

The NVENT CADDY 4BRT20 bridle ring is a steel conduit hanger designed for low-voltage cable installations. It supports a load capacity of 50 lb and fits 1 1/4 in trade-size conduit. The electrogalvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for indoor or covered outdoor use.

Verify Thread and Conduit Size

Confirm that your mounting surface accepts a 1/4-20 thread before ordering. Ensure the conduit or pipe you are securing matches the 1 1/4 in nominal size listed. This ring is not suited for larger conduit diameters or heavier cable bundles exceeding the rated capacity.

Galvanized Steel Construction

The steel body with gray electrogalvanized coating protects against rust in damp environments. No additional hardware or software is included with the single ring. The cULus listing confirms compliance with relevant safety standards for electrical installations.

Questions about this item

What comes with the 4BRT20 bridle ring and what must I buy separately?

The 4BRT20 bridle ring is supplied as a single steel, electrogalvanized piece rated for 50 lb load capacity with 1/4-20 thread; mounting hardware, conduit and low-voltage cable are not included.

Which version of the 4BRT20 should I choose for 1 1/4 in conduit?

This model is built for 1 1/4 in trade-size conduit and pipe, with an overall width of 1 1/4 in and 1/4-20 thread — select it when those exact dimensions match your installation.

What does the 50 lb load rating mean when the ring is mounted in a real ceiling?

The 50 lb rating is the maximum static load the steel bridle ring can support when properly threaded into a 1/4-20 anchor; actual capacity depends on the anchor and substrate strength.
