Adjustable Cable Support Strap

The Caddy CAT425 is a new cable-management accessory designed for horizontal ceiling mounting. It uses a galvanised-steel rod and polypropylene strap to secure bundles up to 100 lb. The 1/4 in mounting hole accepts standard threaded rod for quick installation.

Suited for ceiling-mounted cable runs

Installers who need a simple, code-compliant way to support horizontal cable bundles on ceilings will find this strap effective. It is not intended for vertical wall runs, heavier loads exceeding the rated capacity, or applications that require an integrated locking latch.

100 lb load capacity and 6 in bundle limit

The decisive specification is the maximum load of 100 lb combined with a 6 in maximum bundle diameter. If your cable bundle weighs more or exceeds this diameter, a different support method is required.

Questions about this item

Does the Caddy CAT425 adjustable strap come with mounting hardware or must the 1/4-inch rod and screws be purchased separately?

The product is supplied as the adjustable strap with a galvanized-steel bar and polypropylene webbing; the 1/4-inch mounting rod and ceiling screws are not included and must be sourced separately.

Which colour option should I choose between the black and silver finishes for the Caddy CAT425?

Both finishes use the same galvanised steel and polypropylene construction and meet the same 100 lb load rating; select black for a low-profile look or silver to match exposed metalwork.

What does the 100 lb maximum load capacity mean when the Caddy CAT425 is installed on a ceiling?

It indicates the strap can safely support cable bundles weighing up to 100 lb when secured to a suitable ceiling structure using a 1/4-inch rod, in line with cUL, NEC and TIA/EIA 569 requirements.
