California Umbrella Octagon 97.88" H

This patio umbrella provides broad shade coverage for outdoor seating areas and dining sets. The octagonal canopy shape suits round or square tables in residential gardens, poolside decks or café patios. Its hunter green fabric coordinates with natural surroundings and neutral furniture palettes.

Bronze aluminium frame and Olefin canopy

The bronze-finished aluminium frame resists corrosion while remaining light enough to reposition by hand. Olefin fabric repels water, resists fading from UV exposure and dries quickly after rain. Together these materials reduce seasonal maintenance compared with steel frames and polyester covers.

Centre-pole mounting with crank operation

A single centre pole fits standard umbrella bases or table holes without extra hardware. The crank lift opens and closes the canopy smoothly, so one person can adjust shade throughout the day. No tilt mechanism is included, so the umbrella stays fixed at a vertical angle.

Questions about this item

Will the Olefin canopy need replacement after extended sun exposure?

The Olefin fabric resists fading and mildew, but prolonged UV exposure will eventually degrade fibres, so plan to replace the canopy after several seasons of heavy use.

What structural limit appears first when the umbrella stays open in steady wind?

The bronze aluminium frame and single vent design handle moderate breezes, yet sustained gusts will stress the ribs and hub before the fabric tears.

How much heat builds up under the 97.88" Hunter Green canopy during all-day sun?

The dark green Olefin absorbs more solar energy than lighter colours, creating a warmer shaded zone, while the vent allows some hot air to escape.
