Patio Umbrella with Sunbrella Canopy

This California Umbrella patio umbrella uses a Sunbrella fabric canopy for outdoor shade. The octagon shape provides broad coverage for dining or seating areas. A wood pole supports the structure and gives a classic appearance. The unit stands 97.5 inches high.

Upgrade from Smaller or Faded Canopies

Replacing a smaller umbrella increases the shaded area for guests and furniture. Switching to Sunbrella fabric improves resistance to fading, mildew and weather exposure compared to standard polyester covers. The change is worth it when the current canopy shows wear or the shade footprint is too narrow.

Check Pole Diameter and Base Weight

Verify that the existing table hole or stand accepts the wood pole diameter before ordering. Confirm the base is heavy enough to hold a nine-foot octagon canopy in wind. Ensure there is enough vertical clearance for the 97.5-inch height in the intended location.

Questions about this item

What size table opening fits the 97.5-inch pole?

The umbrella uses a wood pole that fits standard 9 ft market umbrella bases with a centre hole sized for that pole diameter.

How is the canopy attached to the frame during assembly?

Slide the Sunbrella canopy over the rib ends and secure each pocket to the corresponding rib tip before cranking the lift.

When should the Sunbrella fabric be cleaned or replaced?

Clean the Sunbrella canopy with mild soap and water as needed; replace it if fading, tears, or seam failure appear after extended sun exposure.
