Calmbee BH300 Over-Ear Headphones

The Calmbee BH300 are wireless over-ear headphones with hybrid active noise cancellation and a 40 mm dynamic driver. They target commuters, office workers and travellers who want long battery life and a choice of Bluetooth 5.4 or USB dongle connectivity. The package includes a USB-A/Type-C dongle, a USB-C charge cable and a storage bag.

Practical limits of Bluetooth 5.4 and dongle

Bluetooth 5.4 provides a stable link up to 10 metres with 40 ms latency, suitable for music and video but not competitive gaming. The USB dongle adds plug-and-play compatibility with devices that lack Bluetooth, yet audio quality remains bound by the Bluetooth codec. Battery life reaches 60 hours with ANC on and 90 hours with ANC off.

Installation and common issues

Pairing is handled through Bluetooth settings or by inserting the dongle; a companion app enables five EQ presets and firmware updates. Touch controls manage volume, playback and ANC modes. The non-folding earcups and leather pads can feel warm during extended sessions, and the headphones lack water resistance for outdoor workouts.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 60-hour or 90-hour battery figure?

What does the 40-millisecond latency mean when I am gaming or watching video?

40 ms is the Bluetooth audio delay; it is low enough that most users will not notice lip-sync drift during video or casual gaming.

What does Bluetooth 5.4 cap in practice?

Bluetooth 5.4 sets the 10-metre wireless range and the stable connection used for audio streaming and calls.
