5 GHz GPS-sync point-to-multipoint radio

The Cambium Networks ePMP 1000 GPS Sync Radio operates in the 5 GHz band and uses GPS synchronisation to coordinate multiple sectors. It is built for network operators who need to expand from a single sector to multi-site deployments while delivering VoIP, video and data services. The two-pack includes mounting brackets for pole or wall installation of each connectorised unit.

Check 5 GHz spectrum and mounting options

Verify that the 5 GHz frequency band is licensed or permitted for your intended deployment region before ordering. Confirm that the mounting location — pole or wall — can accommodate the supplied brackets and that clear line-of-sight exists between sectors. Ensure your network management platform can integrate with ePMP software for provisioning and monitoring.

Passive cooling suits outdoor operation

The radio uses a fanless enclosure rated for outdoor environments, so it runs silently without active airflow. Power is typically supplied via a PoE injector, keeping cabling simple and overall draw low. GPS synchronisation adds minimal overhead, so thermal output remains stable during continuous point-to-multipoint traffic.
