5 GHz Force 300 CSM subscriber module

The Cambium Networks Force 300 CSM is a 5 GHz connectorized subscriber module built on 802.11 ac Wave 2 technology. It uses the ePMP operating software and provides a 1 Gbps Ethernet interface for backhaul. The unit is intended for wireless ISP deployments that require a dedicated subscriber radio.

Two RP-SMA connectors for external antennas

The radio includes two RP-SMA connectors that accept 2x2 parabolic dish antennas. It also works with the RF Elements Twistport ePMP adaptor to integrate with a range of horn antenna options. This connectorized design lets installers choose the antenna gain and pattern that suit each link.

20, 40 and 80 MHz channels with 256QAM

The module supports 20, 40 and 80 MHz channel widths and up to 256QAM modulation for a throughput of up to 600 Mbps. It is compatible with ePMP 3000 and ePMP 3000L access points. Buyers who need higher throughput or different frequency bands will need a different radio.

Questions about this item

How often will the RP-SMA connectors on this Force 300 CSM need inspection or replacement?

The two RP-SMA connectors are passive RF interfaces with no moving parts; they typically require no scheduled replacement unless physical damage or corrosion occurs.

What throughput ceiling appears first during continuous 5 GHz operation on this subscriber module?

Sustained throughput is limited to 600 Mbps by the 2x2 MIMO 802.11ac Wave 2 radio and 256QAM modulation on 80 MHz channels.

How much heat does the C058910C122A generate when running at full 600 Mbps throughput all day?

The unit is a passively cooled outdoor radio with no fan; its enclosure is rated for continuous operation across the standard ePMP temperature range.
