This lithium-ion pack replaces the original cell in SurgiTel Eclipse EHL65 and Odyssey Analog units. It matches part numbers 25458 and OM0134 for direct fitment. The blue housing identifies the 7.4 V 2.6 Ah configuration at a glance.

Thermal and Power Behaviour

Lithium-ion chemistry delivers steady voltage across the 19.24 Wh capacity with minimal self-discharge. Normal clinical use produces no audible noise and negligible heat rise. The cell accepts standard charging cycles without special cooling requirements.

Build and Daily Handling

The pack measures 66.40 x 37.00 x 19.60 mm and slides into the existing battery compartment without adapters. Blue colour coding helps staff distinguish it from other packs in a busy tray. OEM-compatible contacts ensure reliable connection through repeated swaps.

Questions about this item

How do I install the battery in the SurgiTel Eclipse EHL65 and which orientation step is often missed?

Slide the pack into the handle until the latch clicks; the blue label must face outward so the connector pins align with the device socket.

What maintenance will the 7.4 V 2600 mAh Li-ion pack need over time?

Expect gradual capacity loss after several hundred charge cycles; replace the pack when run-time drops below your clinical needs.

What limit appears first during a long procedure with the 19.24 Wh battery?

The 2.6 Ah capacity sets the runtime ceiling; continuous high-brightness use will deplete the charge before thermal limits are reached.
