Cameron & Co DS-CS-BT446CL Ni-MH battery

This Cameron & Co DS-CS-BT446CL is a nickel-metal hydride replacement battery rated at 0.8 Ah. It fits a wide range of cordless telephones from GP, Radio Shack, Uniden and Motorola. The pack is intended for users who need a direct swap for an original BT-446 or compatible cell.

Check connector and model before ordering

Verify that your handset or base unit lists one of the compatible part numbers such as BT1005, BBTY0457001 or GP80AAALH3BMX. Confirm the physical dimensions match the original pack because case shapes vary across the supported models. Ensure the device charges Ni-MH chemistry rather than Ni-Cd or lithium-based cells.

Steady output during long calls

The Ni-MH chemistry delivers a stable voltage through extended conversations without the sharp drop-off seen in a short burst test. Self-discharge remains low when the handset sits in its cradle between uses. Capacity holds up over repeated charge cycles in typical home or office duty.

The title lists several model codes such as BT-446 and BBTY0457001 — which one should I match to my handset?
