Replacement battery for EADS and Cassidian radios

This lithium-ion pack is built as a direct replacement for the EADS P3G TPH700 and Cassidian P3G TPH700 two-way radios. It matches the original HR7742AAA02 and HR7742AAB02 part numbers and ships in new condition. The black housing measures 105.06 x 36.44 x 14.40 mm to fit the existing battery compartment.

7.4 V 2.3 Ah capacity and runtime headroom

Rated at 7.4 volts and 2.3 ampere-hours, the cell stores 17.02 watt-hours of energy for extended shift coverage. The 2300 milliampere-hour rating supports typical transmit and receive cycles across a full work day. Runtime will decrease in cold environments or when the radio operates at maximum transmit power continuously.

Lithium-ion chemistry and voltage constraints

The pack uses standard lithium-ion chemistry with a nominal 7.4 volt output that the host radio regulates internally. No balancing connector or external charger interface is exposed; charging is handled by the radio’s own cradle or desk stand. Over-discharge protection relies on the radio firmware rather than an onboard circuit.

Questions about this item

Will this 7.4 V 2.3 Ah Li-ion battery fit the Cassidian P3G TPH700 radio I already use?

Yes, it replaces the original HR7742AAA02 and HR7742AAB02 packs and is listed as 100 % OEM compatible for the P3G and TPH700 models.

How can I confirm the battery is delivering its rated 17.02 Wh capacity after the first charge?

Run the radio through a typical duty cycle; a healthy pack should provide talk time consistent with the 2300 mAh rating before the low-battery alert sounds.

Does the package include a charger or only the 105.06 × 36.44 × 14.40 mm black battery?

Only the single Li-ion battery is supplied; a compatible charger for the 7.4 V chemistry must be purchased separately.
