KEHIPI UHF two-way radio 16-channel pack

This KEHIPI two-way radio set operates on UHF frequencies and provides sixteen selectable channels for group communication. Each unit is water-resistant and ships with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, charger, belt clip, hand strap and earpiece. The pair is designed for outdoor, marine and general-purpose use where reliable short-range voice contact is needed.

Upgrade from licence-free analogue units

The radios add 50 CTCSS and 105 CDCSS privacy codes on every channel, reducing interference from other users on the same frequency. Built-in VOX voice activation allows hands-free operation, while the integrated flashlight and low-battery alert support extended shifts. The jump is worthwhile when teams need programmable squelch tones and voice-activated transmit without moving to licensed equipment.

Fits handheld kits for field crews

Each transceiver measures 9.9 in by 6.9 in by 2.2 in and weighs 1.39 lb, so it clips to belts or packs without adding bulk. A full charge takes three to four hours and delivers eight to ninety-six hours of standby or eight to twelve hours of continuous talk time. The package includes two complete sets, freeing users from sharing a single charger or swapping batteries during long operations.

Questions about this item

What are the dimensions of the PX888S10001 radio so I know if it fits my belt clip?

Each unit measures 9.9 in x 6.9 in x 2.2 in and weighs 1.39 lb, and a belt clip is included in the package.

How do I charge the radios and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Place each radio in the supplied charger; a full charge from empty takes 3-4 hours. The common mistake is removing the battery pack before charging — the pack stays inside the radio.

When will the 1.39 lb Li-ion battery pack need replacement?

Expect 8-96 hours per charge depending on use; after several hundred charge cycles the runtime will drop noticeably, at which point you replace the pack.
