Build integration

The battery slides into the radio's existing compartment without adapters or wiring changes. It uses the same 7.2 V rail as the original packs, so the radio's charging circuit and fuel-gauge logic remain unchanged. Dimensions of 89.70 x 55.10 x 27.10 mm match the factory footprint, leaving all belt-clip and accessory mounts free.

Capacity and limits

Rated at 2.6 Ah (2600 mAh, 18.72 Wh), the cell provides typical talk-time for a full shift on a single charge. Lithium-ion chemistry means no memory effect, but runtime will fall off in very cold conditions. Users needing multi-day operation away from a charger should carry a spare pack.
