Garmin Dezl OTR700 compatible battery

This lithium-ion cell replaces the original 361-00056-12 pack in the Garmin Dezl OTR700 and Edge Explore 2 navigators. It delivers 3.7 V and 750 mAh for reliable position tracking on long routes. The slim 48.00 x 34.00 x 4.50 mm form factor matches the factory footprint exactly.

Drop-in replacement for OTR700 and Explore 2

No soldering or adapter cables are required; the pack slides into the existing battery bay and connects to the original terminals. It frees the device from a worn-out cell that no longer holds charge through a full driving day. The black casing blends with the unit’s housing.

Steady output during extended navigation

Li-ion chemistry maintains a stable voltage plateau while the GPS receiver, screen and processor draw continuous current. The 2.78 Wh capacity supports hours of turn-by-turn guidance without the voltage sag seen in aged cells. It is not suited for devices that require a higher capacity pack or a different voltage.

Questions about this item

How long will the 750 mAh capacity run my Garmin Dezl OTR700 before I must recharge?

The 3.7 V 750 mAh cell stores 2.78 Wh, so actual run-time depends on the navigator's power draw and screen brightness.

Does the Li-ion pack get hot or make noise during continuous navigation?

Li-ion chemistry runs silently; the slim 4.50 mm profile leaves little surface for heat build-up under normal GPS use.

Must I already own a Garmin Dezl OTR700 or EDGE Explore 2 for this battery to fit?

Yes — it replaces part 361-00056-12 and matches the 48.00 x 34.00 mm footprint of those two models only.
