Compatible Kenwood two-way radio battery

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-KNB630TW is a 7.4V 1300mAh lithium-ion pack built for Kenwood handheld radios including the THK20, TH-K20, TH-K20A, TH-K20E, THK40, TH-K40A, TH-K40E, TK2000 and TK3000 series. It replaces original KNB-63L and KNB-65L cells and supplies 9.62Wh of energy for extended field use.

Capacity and voltage define runtime limits

The 1.3Ah rating at 7.4V sets a hard ceiling on transmit time before recharge, so operators planning long shifts should carry a spare. No higher-capacity version is listed in the data, and the pack does not support rapid-charge protocols beyond the radio's standard cradle.

Slim profile fits existing battery bays

At 96.80 x 54.30 x 30.60 mm the pack slides into the same compartment as the factory cells without shims or door modifications. The black casing matches the radio body and the lithium-ion chemistry avoids memory effect, so partial top-ups between calls do not degrade usable capacity.

Questions about this item

Which Cameron & Co DS-CS-KNB630TW capacity should I pick for my Kenwood radio?

This model is a single 1.3 Ah 7.4 V pack rated at 9.62 Wh, so there is no capacity choice — select it when your radio needs a KNB-63L or KNB-65L replacement.

What does the 1300 mAh rating mean once the battery is in my handheld?

At 7.4 V the cell stores 9.62 Wh, giving roughly 1.3 A for one hour or proportionally longer at lower transmit duty cycles typical of two-way radio use.

What interface does the DS-CS-KNB630TW use and what does it cap in practice?

It mates directly with the radio’s battery rails; the mechanical latch and contact layout limit it to Kenwood models listed such as TK-2000, TK-3000 and TK-3501 series.
