Replacement battery for Lincoln grease guns

The Cameron & Co DS-CS-LIN120PW is a 12 V nickel-metal-hydride pack rated at 2.1 Ah and 25.20 Wh. It fits Lincoln 1201, 218-787, 40394, LNI-1201, LNI-1242 and LNI-1244 automotive grease guns. The black casing measures 98.64 x 84.95 x 83.45 mm and is supplied as a single new unit.

Upgrading from worn original packs

This cell replaces the factory 218-787 battery when run-time drops or the gun struggles to maintain pressure. The 2.1 Ah capacity restores the original 12.0 V output so the tool delivers its full grease flow again. The jump is worth it whenever the old pack no longer holds a charge through a typical service job.

Suits technicians servicing compatible Lincoln

Mechanics who own any of the listed grease guns gain a direct-fit, 100 % OEM-compatible power source. Users of other Lincoln models or different-brand lubrication tools should look elsewhere because the connector and voltage are specific to the 1201 series. Buyers needing higher capacity or a different chemistry will not find it here.

Questions about this item

Will the 98.64 x 84.95 x 83.45 mm pack fit the Lincoln 1201 grease gun battery bay?

The pack measures 98.64 x 84.95 x 83.45 mm and is built to the same footprint as the original 218-787 cell for the Lincoln 1201 and LNI-1242 guns.

How do I install the 2.1 Ah Ni-MH pack without damaging the contacts?

Slide the pack into the gun until the latch clicks; the polarised connector only mates one way, so do not force it.

When should I replace the 2100 mAh Ni-MH pack?

Replace it when run-time drops below roughly half of the original 25.20 Wh capacity or the gun struggles to build pressure.
