Ni-MH replacement battery delivers 18 V and 2.1 Ah capacity for Metabo BSZ 18 series tools

  • Compatible with Metabo BSZ 18 series tools
  • 1 Ah capacity delivers 37.8 Wh runtime
  • Ni-MH chemistry ensures reliable power delivery
  • 100% OEM compatible with part 6.25484
  • Compact 153.05 x 74.50 x 113.00 mm design

Compatible Metabo 18V replacement battery

This Cameron Sino DS-CS-MTX484PW pack replaces Metabo BSZ 18, BSZ 18 Impuls and BSZ 18 Impuls Li Power batteries. It fits the KSAP18Li tool platform and matches part number 6.25484. The nickel-metal-hydride chemistry delivers 2.1 Ah at 18.0 V for cordless drilling and driving tasks.

Ni-MH thermals and power profile

Nickel-metal-hydride cells run cooler than lithium-ion equivalents under sustained load and exhibit no thermal-runaway risk. Self-discharge is moderate so the pack holds usable charge between jobs. The 37.8 Wh rating supports typical drilling cycles without excessive voltage sag.

Form factor and build integration

Dimensions of 153.05 x 74.50 x 113.00 mm match the original battery cavity so no adapter or shim is required. The black housing locks into the tool's existing latch mechanism. Builders needing lithium-ion energy density or higher capacity for all-day runtime should consider alternative chemistries.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the DS-CS-MTX484PW into my Metabo BSZ 18 Impuls Li and which orientation do people get wrong?

Align the pack's rails with the tool's guide slots, push straight in until the latch clicks, and make sure the label faces outward so the contacts mate correctly.

What upkeep will the 2.1 Ah Ni-MH pack need over its life?

Store it at room temperature, recharge every few months if unused, and plan to replace the pack when run-time falls noticeably short of the 37.8 Wh rating.

What limit appears first during continuous high-drain work with this 18.0 V battery?

Ni-MH chemistry heats up under sustained loads, so the pack will hit its thermal ceiling and throttle output before the 2100 mAh capacity is fully used.
