Li-ion chemistry and 3400mAh capacity

The lithium-ion cell delivers 3.7V and 3400mAh for 12.58Wh of energy. Black housing matches the original appearance. The single-unit pack installs in the same battery compartment. No additional cables or adapters are required for operation.

Powers Pelican 7060 and 7069 lights

The 3.4Ah capacity supports typical duty cycles for the compatible Pelican models. Runtime scales with the device power draw and brightness setting. It does not fit other Pelican series or third-party lights. Users needing higher capacity must seek a different battery format.

Questions about this item

How long will the 3.7V 3400mAh lithium-ion cell hold a useful charge before it needs replacing?

The 3.7V 3400mAh lithium-ion cell will hold a useful charge for several hundred full cycles; capacity gradually fades, so plan on a replacement when run-time drops below your needs.

What stops the DS-CS-PEL709FT from running indefinitely on a heavy load?

The 12.58 Wh capacity is the first limit — once the 3400mAh charge is depleted the pack must be recharged before the light or device can continue.

Does the 94.20 x 25.45 x 24.30 mm pack get hot or make noise during all-day use?

The sealed lithium-ion pack has no moving parts and generates only modest warmth during normal discharge; it runs silently.
